This hand-colored lithograph by John William Hill from Zoology of New-York, or the New-York Fauna by James E. De Kay, published in 1842 as part of the New York State Museum series Natural History of New York. Only 200 hand-colored editions were produced. The lithograph is marked "Plate 36" and measures 11.25" by 8.75". The subjects are two birds.
