Ohio Scientific Challenger 1P S/N 9823. This computer was manufactured during 1980, as various internal components are dated 08-10-79, 8-14-79, and 8-19-80. The system boots normally into the system monitor and, after pressing break, displays the D/C/W/M prompt. The system has been upgraded with additional memory and displays 22,783 bytes free. The rare internal disk controller board and interface cable have also been installed.

A period correct 5.25" diskette drive suitable for use with the Ohio Scientific Challenger 1P is included. The diskette drive was made by MPI | Micro Peripherals Inc., Model B51, S/N 072278, Mfg. Date Aug 80. The drive is untested and is mounted in a modern external drive enclosure with a power supply and fan. The diskette drive is not connected to the power supply, has not been tested, and is provided "as-is" due to age.
