Data General One license plate distributed at the 1984 Fall COMDEX trade show as part of the launch of the Data General DG/1 IBM-compatible laptop computer. The DG/1 was the first battery-powered laptop on the market that was fully compatible with the IBM PC, featuring a full-sized LCD capable of displaying 80×25 text or CGA graphics (640×200). This rare promotional item is in very good condition.
